Dart Foundation Donates $5,000 to Education Foundation for Waxahachie Independent School District
Waxahachie ISD
WAXAHACHIE, TX – The Dart Foundation recently donated $5,000 to the Education Foundation for Waxahachie ISD. This is the fourth time that the Dart Foundation has awarded monies to the Education Foundation. The funds will be used for dual credit scholarships for Waxahachie High School juniors and seniors.
Students enrolled at Waxahachie High School who wish to get a jump-start on their college careers can do so while still enrolled in high school by taking Dual Credit courses. These courses enable students to obtain both high school and college credit at the same time. Waxahachie High School's collegiate partner is Navarro College and students walk away with college credit on a Navarro College transcript along with high school credit on a Waxahachie High School transcript.
